I hesitate to use the word unprecedented, but our country and the world is facing a nearly unprecedented and once in a generation health disaster and financial disaster right now. Governments around the world are trying their best to stem the effects to our financial systems, but the simple fact is it is impossible to generate supply and demand when millions of people are sheltering in place and ordered not to go to stores or restaurants.

Our clients are facing uncertain times and many have already fell into dire financial predicaments and are hoping for help from the government. While I do believe that our government will do everything within its power to keep our economy on solid footing, there is only so much that it can do through fiscal and monetary stimulus. There will be help in the future but it may be too little and it may be too late.
